It now encompasses a thriving online community of nearly 900 members, led by 13 Research Directors with diverse expertise spanning…

Voting is a critical component in the decision-making process of DAOs (Decentralised Autonomous Organisations), where web3 voting mechanisms strive for transparency and verifiability. Despite these goals, these mechanisms often face issues like voter apathy, manipulation, and a lack of privacy. These challenges can lead to unrepresentative outcomes and weaken the integrity of governance systems. Common problems in web3 voting include voters being influenced by early trends in the voting process…

OnionDAO has been incentivizing people to run Tor exit nodes since April 2022. Currently, we do so by giving out POAPs, which caused us to attract enough people to run about 10% of Tor exit nodes. The Tor network provides a secure and anonymous way to connect to the internet. It is designed to defeat censorship and to make privacy accessible. Many of us have a background in Ethereum staking. We are philosophically aligned with the Tor network, but we operate independently from the Tor…

PublicHAUS serves as the governing framework of the [DAOhaus](https://daohaus.club/) ecosystem and protocol, fostering a collaborative space where DAOhaus contributors, supporters, and enthusiasts converge to propel the DAOhaus vision forward. Its essence lies in employing decentralized digital coordination, facilitated by Moloch DAO contracts and the DAOhaus SDK, to manage the framework collectively as we navigate towards a decentralized, autonomous future. The initiative is underpinned by…

The Hypercerts Foundation pioneers open-source protocols to transparently fund and reward positive impact. Hypercerts are the web3 standard for account for impactful work, tracking financial and non-financial contributions. As an extension of ERC 1155 semi-fungible tokens, hypercerts create a single, open, shared, and decentralized database for funding mechanisms. This database avoids the creation of new funding silos, as hypercerts can be integrated into any existing funding platform, thereby…

Gitcoin creates solutions that empower communities to fund, build, and protect what matters. Through Gitcoin Grants Program, they've distributed over $50m to early stage builders championing projects across DeFi, climate, open source and beyond. Their core products include Gitcoin Grants Stack, our end-to-end grants solution, Allo Protocol, our open-source funding protocol, and Gitcoin Passport, our decentralized identity management tool. The Gitcoin Grants Program is a quarterly initiative…

Drips is a new protocol (and app), built on Ethereum, that enables organizations and individuals to directly and publicly provide funding to the free and open-source software projects they depend on the most. Drips also includes gas-optimized and integrated primitives for streaming and splitting tokens, allowing users and web3 apps to stream and split funds by the second with continuous settlement for use cases like contributor payments, vesting and subscription memberships.
