<p>Kiwi - for almost 1.5 years - has been curating high-signal news, essays & products for Ethereum builders. We believe that Ethereum needs a credibly neutral, open place to share & discuss the most important crypto ideas, a place thatâs not shaped by engagement-focused Twitter algorithms. For web2, this place has been Hacker News, and for web3, itâs Kiwi News. At this point, we have 1,300+ crypto natives checking Kiwi per month, 1,200+ weekly newsletter subscribers, and 120+ monthly active curators who submit, upvote, and comment on links. </p>
<p>All Kiwi content - together with upvotes and comments - is stored on our P2P protocol, similar to Farcaster. We believe in users' freedom, so our data, front-end, back-end, and protocol are open source. This means that anyone can fork us and build their own version of the app with a different UI, algorithm, or moderation.</p>
<p>Weâve been co-developing the Kiwi ecosystem with our community. Our users submit links, share suggestions, ship code, and run dashboards that help us grow the project, and weâve been sharing a % of our revenue with them to align the incentives. All in all, Kiwi is a public good in three ways: we share our content, code, and revenue with the crypto buildersâ community.</p>
